Make cookies with toddlers.

Have you ever made cookies or done any baking with a toddler?
It's great fun. But very messy.
Make the clean up easier by mixing it all on the trampoline so you can hose it down when you're done.

Its a good idea to wash down the trampoline before starting so that if (when) something spills it can be eaten, especially if its the choc chips.

Bake as you normally would, but allow kids to do more than they normally would this may mean they can measure, or just pour, or stir, or even decide how much honey to put in. Its up to you to decide. Remembering that a big part of taking this to the trampoline is that trampolines are more forgiving and easier to clean than kitchens.

Toddler poured ingredients, decided how much honey started stirring and got distracted.

If you need a recipe I think this was:
1 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
80g butter
honey squeesed on
packet of caramel bites
(or as much of the packet as made it into the bowl.)
mix all, bake at 180c until it smells good.

They were ok.

Bonus fine motor skills for picking up the choc chips/caramel chips that didn't make it into the bowl.
